Some love stories are whispered early and echo forever. Molly and Charlie’s began at just 17 years old, and ten wonderful years later, their commitment only deepened.

A few years into their relationship, Charlie surprised Molly with a proposal atop a mountain within Yosemite National Park in California.

Overwhelmed by emotion, he could barely find the words, but the moment spoke volumes. Such sweetness and sincerity set the tone for everything that followed.

When Molly reached out to me one year before their wedding, I’d just moved to Portugal. She shared their journey, their love, that tender proposal storyand their dream to say “I do” at Pestana Viking Resort in Armação de Pêra. Their choice had special meaning: ten years ago, during a family holiday, they posed for a photo with their drinks in front of that very resort. Looking back at that snapshot, filled with laughter and nostalgia, became the moment where they both thought, “This is it.”

Every step leading up to their wedding felt intentional; from sweet video calls where we planned timelines, to heartfelt stories shared across borders.

And then the day arrived: intimate, warm, perfect. Surrounded by just 30 of their closest loved ones, it felt like a sacred gathering, full of laughter, tears, and quiet joy.

Molly was a vision of happiness, lighting up the room. Charlie, ever sensitive and genuine, wore his heart on his sleeve. Their love was palpable; every glance, every embrace whispered their story.

For me, capturing this moment was more than a job; it was a dream come true. A destination wedding filled with genuine emotion, deep meaning, and true connection.
