I'll also have a dedicated person with me filming the proposal, so while I'm focused on capturing the photographs, you get to have the moment preserved on video too.

What's the booking process like?

Once you've decided you'd like to work together, here's how it goes :

• I'll send you a contract and invoice
• A deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking.
• Once everything's signed and the deposit is paid, let's plan together!

Jamie & Lottie

Jamie and Lottie first came to Lisbon on their first holiday together. So when they returned to Lisbon for another trip, Jamie knew it was the perfect opportunity to ask Lottie to marry him.

Because they were both shy and wanted something intimate, we chose a beach at Costa da Caparica, conveniently close to the restaurant Jamie had booked for their celebration dinner.

Jamie was nervous, so we planned everything together : from the timing of the proposal at sunset to exactly where he should walk and when to get down on one knee. Lottie had absolutely no idea what was coming.

I arrived early with my videographer to make sure Lottie didn't see us, and when the moment came, Jamie walked with her along the water before choosing his moment to propose.

She cried. He was relieved. And then we spent the rest of golden hour celebrating with photos before they headed off to dinner.

Gev & Elen

Gev and Elen had been together for nine months when Gev contacted me from Los Angeles to plan a surprise proposal in Lisbon. Although Elen knew they would eventually get engaged, she thought it would happen the following year.

Gev wanted something incredibly romantic : dramatic scenery, intimacy and a setting that felt straight out of a movie. After showing him Praia da Ursa, we knew we'd found the place.

Elen arrived thinking they were simply having a photo shoot, while Gev and I had planned every detail of the surprise. I guided them into position and created a natural moment for Gev to pull out the ring and ask the question.

After she said yes, we celebrated with Portuguese sparkling wine I brought and hid in my bag, a little picnic setup and more photos overlooking the coast. I even arranged their ride back to Lisbon, so Gev could simply enjoy the moment with his newly engaged fiancée.
