Agathe & Alexis got married at the Moulin d'Artres, France.

Agathe and Alexis reached out to me more than a year before their wedding, and it was the very first vendor booking they made.

From the start, they believed in me. They told me my work reminded them of their favorite artist, Lana Del Rey, and I don’t think they’ll ever know how much that meant to me. Those words gave me confidence I didn’t even know I needed. It felt like a quiet permission to lean into my art more fully, to embrace the raw, cinematic, emotional style I love so much.

Over the months of getting to know them, I was struck by the way they complement one another so beautifully. Agathe, with her soft, kind, airy presence, the sweetest soul. Alexis, fiery, playful, and steady, always bringing the grounding balance. Like every couple, they’ve weathered hardships, but the way they stand by one another is truly inspiring. They are each other’s home, their safe place, their constant.

Their love story has pieces of poetry threaded all throughout. Alexis proposed in Mallorca, during a golden sunset picnic. That image stayed with me, and for a year I carried a little secret: I wanted to recreate that moment for them on their wedding day. So just before the reception, I brought out a picnic blanket and stole them away for a quiet, cinematic session. It was tender, nostalgic, and deeply them. Watching their faces light up when they realized what I was recreating was one of my favorite parts of the day.

Their wedding itself was full of joy, color, and intimacy. The Moulin d’Artres was filled with vibrant flowers, thoughtful details, carefully crafter by the amazing coordinator Family Moments Events and their closest friends and family. And in the middle of it all came their most beautiful surprise : they announced to their loved ones that they are expecting a baby boy in March.

The happiness in the room was overwhelming.

The day passed in a blur; occasional rain showers, bursts of laughter, heartfelt conversations, and a love that felt so alive in every corner. I enjoyed every single second, so much so that I even stayed an extra hour just because I didn’t want it to end.

It’s days like this that remind me why I do what I do. To witness love in its most authentic form. To capture stories that feel timeless and real. To show couples, years later, not just what their day looked like but what it felt like.
